Israel's booming "battle-tested surveillance and spying technology industry
Antony Loewenstein is an Israel-based Australian independent journalist, author and documentarian. He writes a column for the Guardian in the UK and his articles have appeared in all the major and alternative publications, including the New York Tmies, The Nation, Haaretz in Israel, The Australian, Foreign Policy, Electronic Intifada, Tikkun and many others. Prof William Robinson is Professor of Sociology and Latin American Studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is also on the university’s faculty in its Global and International Studies Program. William is a scholar activist, deeply involved in Third World struggles for social justice, the Latin American radical left, popular empowerment of populations and participatory democracy and government. His areas of focus include globalization, transnationalism, political economics, immigration and a variety of sociological issues. William received his graduate degrees from the University of New Mexico. His article's appear on Global Research and he has published nine books, his latest being “Into the Tempest: Essays on the New Global Capitalism." His earlier "Global Capitalism and the Crisis of Humanity,”takes a hard look at the totalitarian structures and agenda of the transnational capitalist class that promotes neoliberal restructuring and trade liberalization. Utrice is currently the host of Leid Stories, heard every weekday at 1 pm on the Progressive Radio Network.
