Professor Steven Nadler is the William Hay Professor in Humanities at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he teaches early modern philosophy - primarily of the 17th century -- and Jewish philosophy. He is regarded as one of the foremost scholars focusing on the life and thought of the Dutch-Portugese philosopher Baruch Spinoza, who died rather young at age 44 in 1677. Prof. Nadler received his doctorate at Columbia, and has held visiting professorships at the University of Amsterdam, universities in Parish, Stanford and the University of Chicago. He has also been elected as a member of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences and was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Steven has written about a dozen books on Spinoza life and work. His latest is "Think Least of Death: Spinoza on How to Live and How to Die" published by Princeton University Press, which presents Spinoza's philosophy in a contemporary and practical context .

Dr. Elisabet Sahtouris (Sah-toor-is) is an evolution biologist, philosopher, futurist and a former professor specializing in how the principles of nature can be applied as models for organizational and systems change. Prof. Cahill received her degree in Molecular Genetics from Trinity College Dublin (1989) and her PhD in Immunology from Dublin City University in 1994. She was group leader of the Protein Technology Group in the Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Genetics, Berlin, Germany (1996-2003) She co-founded a biotechnology company, Protagen AG (www.protagen.de) in Dortmund to commercialise this technology. Since 2005, she is Professor of Translational Science at the University College Dublin School of Medicine and Medical Sciences.

Her research, publication and patent record is in high content protein/antibody arrays and their biomedical applications. Application include the characterisation of antibodies specificity (including therapeutic antibodies), biomarker discovery validation, diagnostics, assay development, protein-interaction studies, proteomics, large scale/systems biology research. 

She is a member of a number of Editorial and Science Advisory and Review Boards. For the past 10 years she has been involved in policy development in the areas of science, technology and innovation, including in the EU Health, Innovation and Infrastructure. Since 2003, she is a Member of the Irish Government’s Advisory Science Council (ASC) (www.sciencecouncil.ie), appointed by the Minister for Industry, Trade and Employment. For the past ten years, she is on a number of Science Advisory & Review Boards, including for BMBF/DLR in Germany; BBSRC in the UK; Vinnova in Sweden. She has received prizes for her research, including the prestigious BMBF ‘BioFuture’ Award from the German Minister of Science. She was awarded the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) 2009 Award for her research & its significance. Other recipients of this award include Prof. J. Craig Venter & Prof. Robert Huber.

Dr. Meryl Nass is an internal medicine physician in Maine and activist who specializes in treating patients with Gulf War syndrome, adverse reactions from the anthrax vaccine and vaccine safety and efficacy in general.  In the past she has testified on six separate occasions before Congress on behalf of veterans suffering from the causes of Gulf War syndrome. Meryl is also active in opposing vaccine mandates and critiquing the false claims and fear mongering about infectious disease epidemics and corruption within the medical industrial military complex.  She serves on the Board of the Alliance for Human Research Protection, a non profit organization run by Vera Sharav that advances medical ethics that uphold human rights and protect humans from wrongful medical interventions. Vera Sharav is one of our most passionate street fighters against the pharmaceutical industry and advocate for the rights of medical research subjects. She is the founding President of the Alliance for Human Research Protection. A Holocaust survivor at a young age, Vera has exposed the experimental use of HIV drugs on toddlers in New York's foster care system, the suicide risks of antidpressants, and pressured the National Institutes of Health to reevaluate its protocols on psychiatric trials to protect patients and participants. Mary Holland is the General Counsel and Vice Chair of the Board for the Children's Health Defense, founded by Bobby Kennedy Jr, and a former law scholar at a New York area law school specializing in international human rights, public law and vaccine safety law and injury compensation. She also has a son who regressed into autism following the MMR vaccine. Mary holds a degree in Russian studies from Harvard, and graduate degrees in international relations and a JD from Columbia University.
