American interventionism -- How the US interferes in the outcome of elections and promotes regime change around the world
Dan Kovalik is a human rights and labor justice attorney, a peace activist, and an adjunct professor of international Human Rights at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. His work has focused on Latin America. He has worked on tort cases against Coca Cola, Drummond Company and Occidental Petroleum over human rights abuses in Colombia. Christian Science Monitor named Prof. Kovalik as one of America's most prominent defenders of Colombian workers under threat of assassination, which earned him a Project Censored Award. Dan also works as the Senior General Counsel for the United Steelworkers union. A graduate of Columbia University Law School, he contributes frequently to Counterpunch, TeleSur, Huffington Post and other news sites. He has published books on the scapegoating of Russia and US efforts to overthrow the Iranian government. His most recent book is "The Plot to Control the World: How the US Spent Billions to Change the Outcome of Elections Around the World."
